"Kuro," which loosely translates to "black" in Japanese, underscores Kuro Sumi's reputation as a leading tattoo color for contouring and gray washes.
"Sumi", which loosely translates to "before" in Japanese, is representative of the rich history and tradition of Japanese tattooing.
