Lock Down - the breathable tattoo film - Lock Down - the breathable tattoo film

A tattoo is a work of art that you as a tattoo artist burn for and that your client wears with pride. However, a tattoo is also an open wound that must be cared for in the best possible way. Only through correct healing can the tattoo shine in all its glory. The best and easiest way to protect it is with the Lock Down Tattoo Film from THE INKED ARMY.

The right care after tattooing

Most clients rely entirely on you as a tattoo artist when it comes to aftercare. Especially with first-time customers, education is enormously important!
In order to reduce the risk of infection or the penetration of dirt into the freshly stung tattoo and to ensure a gentle and uncomplicated healing process, there are various ways to care for the tattoo.
We will introduce you to the simplest method. This is called Lock Down Tattoo Film. This is a type of transparent film that is applied to the skin directly after tattooing. The film is thin, flexible and self-adhesive and thus fits perfectly to the tattooed body part.
The tattoo foil is hardly noticeable to the customer and does not interfere with any activity or movement. Thanks to the breathable material, the skin can breathe and regenerate.
A wound-healing climate is created under the tattoo film during the crucial initial phase of the healing process, which supports the regeneration and healing of the irritated skin and at the same time protects it from the penetration of dirt or germs.
The tattoo film can remain on the skin for several days until it can finally be gently removed.

How is the Lockdown Tattoo Film applied?

  1. Cut the foil to the correct size
  2. Thoroughly clean the fresh tattoo
  3. Gently pat dry with a lint-free cloth (do not rub!)
  4. Peel off the white underside of the film
  5. Place the adhesive side on the tattoo (make sure the film is even and bubble free)
  6. Press on carefully
  7. Peel off the protective film
To prevent leakage of wound fluid, the edges of the tattoo foil should protrude about two to three centimetres above the tattoo. For larger motifs, it may be necessary to use several strips of foil. In this case, the individual strips should also overlap by a few centimetres.
The Lock Down Tattoo Foil Bandage is available as a practical roll in which it can be cut to any length and size.

Don't experiment when it comes to healing tattoos - trust the professionals!
